It was a narrow gravel road with a series of very sharp turns, one after another... thirteen of them. Fondly referred to as Thirteen Corners, it was a fun place to test your driving skills.
But, thanks to progress, that is no more... One of my all time favorite sections of road has been widened, straightened, and paved. Now there are only four sweeping curves... ho hum... boring, really boring.
The old corners are quickly reverting back to nature, but this cache will put you in the midst of them with a view of the new road and, beyond, a glimpse of the wilderness area known as Donovan-Corkery.
