Welcome to the Fruitie Tootie Series. Each of the seven base caches in this series contains a number which you will need to solve the Grandaddy Fruitie Tootie Series Finale. Be sure to write the number down at each one.

All are intended to be very findable caches. Enjoy!!!

And now . . . a little bit about this specific cache you will be finding.

This fruit comes in a variety of sizes and colors when ripe, including yellow, purple, and red.

Until the early 1800s in Hawaii, most of this fruit’s varieties were 'kapu' - forbidden for women of Hawaii to eat, under penalty of death.

Today, the average U.S. per capita consumption is almost 30 pounds per year.

They are native to tropical South and Southeast Asia, and are likely to have been first domesticated in Papua New Guinea. Today, they are cultivated throughout the tropics.

They are grown in at least 107 countries, primarily for their fruit, and to a lesser extent to make fiber, wine and ornamental plants.
