Geocache Description:

Sir William Mackenzie (1849 -1923) and his wife Margaret are buried at the posted coordinates. He was knighted Jan. 1, 1911 primarily for his role in the development of western Canada through railway construction.
(The Mackenzie homestead (circa 1888) together with an historical plaque is located near the main intersection of Kirkfield.)
To find the location of the cache you will need to gather information contained on gravestones in very close proximity to the posted coordinates.
Although the cache contains a log you will need to bring a pen to sign it.
For the FTF there is a $5.00 note together with a set of used Canada stamps (Scott # 311- #314).

The location of the cache is:
N 44 33.ABC & W 078. 58.ADE where:

A= Year Walter Beardmore died 193_

B= Year Roderick Mackenzie was born 1_73

C= Day Joseph Mackenzie was born April 2_

D= Year Cyril Andrewes was born 18_3

E= Year Bertha Mackenzie McCarthy died 19_1

Please do not seek this cache after sunset. The final stage is not wheel chair accessable.

Congratulations to KSAcat, strega13, and Shelley's Crew for their Joint FTF. Your comments are well received and the edits have been made.
A tip of my cap also to Cache Grab for the coveted 2TF to cherish forever.
