Geocache Description:

All are intended to be very findable caches. Enjoy!!!

And now . . . a little bit about this specific cache you will be finding.

In India, the fruit is used in Tantra for removing evil spirits. It is also combined with Indian chilis to make a protective charm to repel the evil eye. Furthermore, it was believed that hanging these fruits over sick people cured them of the illness by repelling evil spirits lurking inside the body.

This fruit is a good source of vitamin C. This fruit is often used to accent the flavors of foods and beverages because of the acidity of its juice and the floral aroma of its zest. It is a very common ingredient in authentic Mexican, Southwestern United States, Vietnamese and Thai dishes.

Extracts and essential oils are from this fruit are frequently used in perfumes, cleaning products, and aromatherapy.

Columbus likely introduced this fruit to our country on his second voyage.

Note: If you happen to bike to the cache, a trail fee is required. (There's never a fee for pedestrians, though.)

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the Wisconsin DNR.
