Welcome to our 4th Cache Hide
A simple two stage Multi located in the Sharon Hills Park, recently named one of the Top 5 parks in the area.
This park is our favourite one to launch model rockets at, however sometimes things go wrong with that. Near the posted coordinates you will find a pond where one of our rockets did a splashdown, further South we lost a shock cord and nosedived a rocket into the pavement from 500ft and to the North we last saw one of our bigger ones gaining altitude on a thermal one night with the led lights glowing brightly. Have a look while on your way to the final, maybe you’ll spy our rocket hung far up in the trees?
Also at this park is a children’s play structure, tennis courts and a toboggan hill for the winter, all inside a short paved walking path.
Currently it is a rather quiet park but I think that will soon change with the new 404 extension underway directly to the East.
The final is a medium sized Ammo box filled with goodies and the traditional $5 Coffee Gift Card for the FTF.
From stage 1 take the path of least resistance to the forest,
It is quite dense so your GPSr may bounce around a bit, but you should get to 5m - above the cache is one small reflector and a hallmark birdhouse that should help you locate GZ.
Please replace the camo that conceals the cache
Don't forget to Waypoint the enterance into the forest, it'll help on the way out - trust me!
