Cousins Cache 2 Traditional Cache

A group of cousins started a cache (Cousins Cache GC2BN2A) in the summer of 2010 in Vail, Colorado. They decided to continue the tradition by hiding Cousins Cache 2 while visiting Virginia in the summer of 2011. The cache is a small green military ammo can. Original contents are a logbook, pens, and various toys. Cousins Cache 2 is hidden about off one of the trails in the wooded areas surrounding Royal Lake. Cache location is 38-48.451N, 077-17.703W Cache is located on East side of trail.
A group of 4 cousins started a cache (Cousins Cache GC2BN2A) in the summer of 2010 in Vail, Colorado. They decided to continue the tradition by hiding Cousins Cache 2 while visiting Virginia in the summer of 2011. This time there were 5 cousins. The cache container is a small green military ammo container. Cousins Cache 2 is hidden off one of the trails in the wooded areas surrounding Royal Lake Park. Cache location is 38-48.451N, 077-17.703W (off the trail on the east side of trail). There are several spots to access the trail that Cousins Cache 2 is hidden on. The first trailhead is located just to the right of 10103 Dundalk Street. Trailhead coordinates are: 38.809423N, 077.296717W. The second and closest trailhead to the cache is just to the right of 5302 Gainsborough Drive. Trailhead coordinates are: 38.807962N, 077.294607W. There are many other ways to access the trails around this lake and stretch of woods but the last one I will mention is the parking lot at Royal Lake Park. The parking lot is accessed between 5346 and 5342 Gainsborough Drive. The parking lot coordinates are 38.80458N, 077.289923W. The park and parking lot are only open from sunrise to sunset, therefore this is not a 24/7 cache. Only access the trails during daylight hours.
