This area was one of the air defence gun emplacements protecting the airstrip. It's just as well there was no incoming hostile fire from marauding japanese aircraft!
Bush-bashing is NOT required, nor even needed, and is actively discouraged in this area. All five caches in this series are easily accessible with two-wheel drive vehicles.
To take advantage of the terrain, it is suggested you do the series in order, from #1 to #5.
