Geocache Description:

From Long Melford the cache is located along the narrow and pretty road of Liston Lane, over the old railway bridge hump, being in close proximity to the River Stour crossing, and within approximately 100 metres of the Essex border sign. No need to cross into private land or the water meadows, and forms part of the main crossing structure.

From the Sudbury direction, go to Long Melford Village and see the sign for Liston Lane, which is a narrow entrance on the left, past the first island crossing down from the horse shop.Proceed along the one way road of Liston lane, and give way at the junction if needed.Do not turn right into St Catherines Road, but proceeed down to the Bridge Crossing, but you are going too far if you go into Essex.
