Turn off the A134 at the bottom of Bridge Street, by turning right towards Lavenham on the narrow country road.Proceed up the hill and a few miles on the right park in front of the first wartime pillbox you see located next to the field layby/ large passing area.
You may need a torch to locate this cache, even in daylight, and care access must be taken when moving about, and the cache is around shoulder height, so ignore any ground level items.
From the bottom of Bridge Street, near Long Melford,on the A134, turn off towards Lavenham on the narrow winding, and initially hilly country road, called Bridge Street Road.
As you get up the hill it starts to level out, with some winding bends, and a few isolated houses to travel past. As you go past a wood, and some houses on your right, it opens up to large fields on either side, and a world war two pillbox becomes clearly visible near the road, again on the right hand side. If driving, park on the ample passing layby, or further ahead, park at the Lavenham Walk parking area, and walk back to this challenging cache area. Once in the area of the pillbox, you may need to climb, or crouch, and a torch and gloves maybe usefull. Ignore any items at ground level, and the cache may appear.
