Geocache Description:

Curry's Corner:

In 1950 Phoenix Lawyer K. T. Palmer (co-founder of Carefree) opened a curio stand 'way out here' in the remote desert to attract adventurous tourists as well as local residents. It was situated at the N/E corner of Scottsdale Road and Pinnacle Peak where this cache is located! People could buy indian jewelry and pottery, cowboy related items, and marvel at a collection of teapots and other 'wonders'!

Unfortunately, water could not be found in this area to develop the land any further and resulted in Carefree's birth further north!

Cache is hiding well- but probably will be a park and grab!! Happy Caching!
