One of our favorite things about kayaking on this river is seeing the many turtles who live here. This is one of the best turtle viewing spots.
This cache is designed to be accessed by kayak, boat or canoe. You could probably swim/wade to it, we've seen muggles out here floating on inner tubes and rubber rafts and sunning themselves, not unlike the turtles; but we really would NOT recommend that approach if the water is running high and/or cold, and we would prefer that you don't do it that way.
