I never really liked the zoo...the cage thing and
all...
According to the wikipedia article...well, forget about the
wikipedia article, the objectivity of it is discussed anyway.
It’s a zoo. Living in a city like this, that’s
probably what’s the closest thing of “the Wide”
we can get. The kids loves it, so we go often. We have a picnic in
the park and then the kids goes to see the zebras and the dads...
are playing on the “bumpy boats”... and hiding
containers.
Fellow cacher do not fear!
You shall not have to fight wide beasts, cross dangerous
hurdles...we are here on urban caching land. Instead, you may have
to dodge hordes of muggles (A mandatory visit for all shanghai
youth at one time or another.), and disburse the 40 rmb entry fees.
(for the small price of a geocache, you get a free zoo entry
ticket! )
The park is really big and looks much more natural than most
parks in Shanghai that are heavily landscaped.
The cache itself is easy, but off the path and reception is
spotty with the trees cover. The hint picture should help find
GZ.
- The cache is big enough for swaps.
- Please replace the cache at the same spot, with enough
camouflage
- post your log with a picture of your free zoo ticket (if you
can...)
