Part 2 of Mr E's BB tour of the Mc Ivor Range walking track, OK, Suggested parking place is the near-by Powder Magazine where Part 1 is located, so you have a short bush walk ahead of you. Follow the track to Devils Cave. About half way you'll need a rest stop where there is a seat. It is in this area you'll find this hide. You are looking for a 40mm diameter x 50mm long tin that has been camouflage to its surrounds. It contains a log book and pencil. Now, warning time, This is a bush track and there are some places where native bushes encroach, some are prickly, also some parts of the track are very rocky, some parts are slippery. Snakes, Scorpians, Bull Ants, Spiders and other nasties are present at certain times of the year but don't be put off, there are some nice animals live here to like wallabies, kangaroos, echidnas Wedge Tail Eagles and every now and again someone sees a Koala. It's a very plesent place to be. Suggested distance from parking is about 400m. It is recommened that you prep yourself for this walk as some of if is up reasonable steep country side, recommend you take drinking water and snacks, wear suitable clothing for bush walking and footwear. No rubbish bins are provided. Thanks for coming to Mr E's BB part 2. (should not be attempted at night)
