Geocache Description:

This is a 3rd attempt at a cache in this park; stealth is required as it seems to be a spot teens hang out. Decon container that will hold small items starting out with TB, earplugs, bracelet, rings, ball, and a couple plastic toys. This cache is .12 miles from parking not far off the trail. This is a good CITO cash so grab a trash bag and fill it up there is a trash can at parking to drop it off.

I wanted to put one back here since this is where I found my very first Geocache and I did it in the dark with my son and a flashlight. It was great fun and it got me hooked, which was Sept. 29th 2008 on my birthday. Now it is 2011 and three GPSs later and I have over 600 caches and still having fun.
Enter the Fitness Trail from the lowest part of the parking lot. The trailhead is steep, but terrain is average after that. There are lots of rocks to trip over and spider webs to walk into. Don't forget your bug spray during the summer, or you will be eaten alive by the river mosquitos.

The trail used to be a fitness trail and included several "stations" for an exerciser to stop at for a type of circuit training. You will see the remains of these "stations" along the path. The path splits off into many different paths, but most circle around and intersect each other. If you go all the way to the end you will see the spot “Unionites” call Lovers Leap and have a view of the Bourbeuse River and bridge.

Thank you to the Union City Parks Department for permission to place this cache.

**Congrats to Woolenstgeos for FTF****
