First ever meeting of the Central Arkansas Geocaching Enthusiasts (C.A.G.E.)
Ronwhite and Razorbackfan01 would like to invite you to the first ever C.A.G.E. meet/eat & chat event, which will be held at Shorty Smalls located at 11100 Rodney Parham Road in Little Rock at 6:00pm on Tuesday, September 20, 2011.
We felt Central Arkansas was being left behind in the meet and greet events around Arkansas and felt it was time to catch up. There are a bunch of geocaching enthusiasts in the metro area that includes, Benton, Bryant, Jacksonville, Sherwood, Lonoke, Conway, Little Rock and North Little Rock, not to mention all of our other nearby geocaching enthusiasts within driving distance. It’s amazing to see all the new cachers that are coming into the sport every day that need just a little help or instruction to really get into the game and that’s what this event is all about.
If you are new to this sport and don't know many cachers, this is your chance to meet people. If you have cached a long time, this is your chance to visit with old and new friends.
If you know that you will be able to attend, please post a "Will Attend" and let us know how many will be in your party so we can pass the info on to the restaurant manager. They are holding the upstairs room and the "new room" for our meet/eat and chat event, depending on how many sign up. However, if you don't know whether you’ll be able to make it until the last minute - that's ok - just come on down, there’ll be plenty of room for all that show up. Just a reminder, everyone will be responsible for their own meals and you don't have to purchase anything, we just ask that you don’t bring outside food into the restaurant, unless you’re on a special diet.
Coordinates will take you to the parking lot of Shorty’s.
