Szegedi Öreg Hölgy - Víztorony
A Szent István téren áll az 1904-ben épített víztorony. Tervezõje: Zielinski Szilárd, egyetemi tanár, az elsõ muszaki doktor, a vasbetonépítés meghonosítója, a Mérnöki Kamara elsõ elnöke. Építészei: Korb Flóris és Giergl Kálmán. 2006-s felújítása után különbözõ kiállításoknak is helyet ad ez a mûködõ víztorony. Miközben a 262 lépcsõn felballaghatsz a tetejére, áthaladsz a víztartályon, melyben 1000 m3 víz fér el. Fenn igazi panoráma fogad. Ha Szegeden jársz és nyitva van, ne hagyd ki!

Old Lady of Szeged - Water tower
This water tower, built in 1904, stands on the Saint Stephen's Square . Designer: Szilárd Zielinski, professor, the first technical doctor to reinforce concrete building, the first president of the Chamber of Engineers. Architecture: Flóris Korb and Kálmán Giergl. This functioning water tower was renovated in 2006, from which point on it also hostsvarious exhibitions. While climbing the 262 stairs to the top, you will go through the water tank which can hold up to1,000 m3 of water. At the top you will be rewarded with a real panorama. If you visit Szeged and the tower is open, don't miss it.
