3/22/03 I found my own cache! After several confusing reports, I went to check it out. I could not find it, but I found the letterbox in its place. I think the letterbox must have fallen out, and was put in the place of the geocache. This must have confused the heck out of people. But I found my cache on the right side. See the hint for more info.
