Farm View
Gaze out over the farmland today. This was also farmland for the Hudson Bay Company in the mid 1800's. Potatoes and dairy cattle were raised here. This food was needed for the workers, but also became an important export
Paysage agricole
Regardez ces terres agricoles. Elles servaient déjà aux cultures au temps de la Compagnie de la Baie d’Hudson, au milieu des années 1800. On y cultivait des pommes de terre et on y élevait des vaches laitières. Ces aliments étaient d’abord destinés aux travailleurs, mais étaient aussi exportés en quantité importante.
