I love driving around Randolph County and finding historic places. Many we see every day and think nothing about them. This series is to help us 'see' our history.
I have driven over the Bush Creek bridge so many times, I doubt I could ever count them. I stopped today and saw how well this one had held up over the years. Built in 1920 as part of a federal and local cooperation. There have been very few repairs over the years, but it is in great shape!
Take some time, look at the construction and imagin what this looked like over 90 years ago when it was built.
Please put the cache back the way you found it. I have found others like this and they have stayed dry if put back the same way.
