Geocache Description:

The above cordinates are not for the cache but for the church itself as a starting point.

The Church of the Good Shepherd is a relatively modern church with not too much indepth history. It does however have some interesting features, the most noticeble being that it is graveyard-less!
It also boasts an underground stream which runs underneath the church, and front door designs which mirror that of the Saw Joinery slightly further up the road on the opposite side (want to guess who built the doors?).
The church is also a local ecumenical project due to structural problems at St Mary's church in Orlestone preventing regular services. Situated in this busy village, the church is active and holds regular services as well as coffee mornings, local group meetings and festive bazzars in the adjoining church hall.

To find the cache visit the plaque on the Church at the above coordinates.

This stone was laid by a mcarthur esq Sept 19th ABCD

The cache can be found at N51 03.B (C-D-A) (B-C-A) E000 51.(D-A) C (C-A)

Both the church and the location of the actual cache are located close to points on the Hamstreet Circumnavigation on sheet 2 of the local walking sheets (free at the village station).

You are looking for a 35mm magnetic film canister - you need to bring a pen. I would advise retrieving the cache with your back to the house. Please return to original location carefully, try not to drop it and look out for muggles as there are several houses very close to the vicinity.

Cache was originally owned by The Mighty Finn, so my thanks goes to them for this one.

Due to the overgrown nature of this path, I would recommend long trousers as there are stinging nettles and thorns overhanging the path.
Attributes on this cache are marked Poision Plants (Stinging Nettles) and Thorns as advisary.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
