This is a cache near an intersection in Pisgah State Park. Whichever way you go will bring you to more caches. The closest trailhead is on Horseshoe Road, but there are other ways.
Right in this area is what looks like the foundation for a spring house. It seems oddly sited for a spring or well house, above the trail as it is. The old concrete top is listing on the stone base. The wooden house that may have been on top is long gone.
You will be looking for a green matchstick container micro just sticking around in a place that is winter-friendly to a point.
The original hide was in the corner of the concrete. Now it’s under the middle, accessible from the trail side.
