Thanks go to Keith (aka Misteryman) for using his skills in the making of this cache!

In April 1928 an inmate of HMP Dartmoor made an audacious bid for freedom.
Having crafted himself a skeleton key to gain access to the workshop. He skillfully compiled the necessary equipment to scale the wall and escape. He then broke into the Priest's house and disguised himself as 'Father Finnegan'.Stealing the Priest's car he calmly drove through Princetown waving at the locals, including having the audacity to engage the local Policeman, who being none the wiser, saluted back!
'Father Finnegan' then enjoyed two days of sunshine at the seaside in Paignton before being promptly arrested.
Cache kindly placed with the permission of the Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust
