Michael, Leslie, Robert, and Sammi did not get a 1K event because they achieved 1000 caches before we knew who they were. (We blame this on the M of the group).
They threw themselves a 1 YEAR event, (Because they were moving so fast that no one knew how caching inspired they were- (Oops, did we mention that already?), but we think they need to be hosted for an event for all the contributions they have made to geocaching in the Middle TN area AND they did not recieve a 1K event.
They are MOGA award winning pirates at heart, geocaching enthusiasts to no avail, and Titans loving fans to the core, so we must embrace them with a buffet breakfast to celebrate them. There is a pot-luck dinner event this same evening at Pools Knob campground. Some will camp there the night before and hold off on eating breakfast unitil the buffet (Unless they are prodigious eaters). Others will do both events and the affliction known as 'Geocaching' in between. There may even be some new caches in the area to occupy your time. You can come to the potluck dinner nearby without camping. If you are camping however, we hope to see you at this event. There will be cool door prizes and gravy, and we want any stories about this team that you can come up with. We know that Robert beat 50 other cachers in finding a mob search of one cache located in a tunnel after a 1K event, that Michael is obsessed (or possessed) by caching, that Sammi wants the GeoJeep, and that Leslie keeps the team balance and looks good doing it.
These are our kind of people. Let us eat breakfast with them and revel in their geocachiness!
