Geocache Description:

Here you are looking for a magnetic nano at a site that provides a look at the history of the village.

I'm sure there used to be a cache at this deserving site but it hasn't been listed for some time now. Stockholm got it's beginning in 1903 with the town site being surveyed and the CPR tracks being laid. In 1904, the Presbyterian church was built and used as a classroom. On June 30th 1905, Stockholm was incorporated as a village and saw it's first post office and Roman Catholic chruch. It was named Stockholm by A.J.Stenberg honoring the birthplace of the Swedish settlers that homesteaded this area.
