Welcome to the first Wherigo in Northern Idaho! To get the coordinates and find the cache you will have to complete my Lakeside Playground Cartridge (Version 1.6). Please (click here) to access the Wherigo cartridge page.
The listed coordinates will take you to the parking area. The first two hours are free. You should be able to finish in the two hour time frame so parking should not be an issue unless you decide to tour the town after you complete the cartridge. Any time after the two hour free time you will be responsible for.
Once at the parking area load the cartridge and get ready to have some fun!
You will be going on a tour of downtown Coeur D' Alene, Idaho. Each location will reveal a question and each correct answer will reveal a new location to visit. After answering the final question, you will be given the coordinates to the cache location and a completion code for the Wherigo cartridge. You'll need to manually enter the coordinates for the cache into your GPS. It would be a good idea to bring your own writing utensil to write them down with.
Wherigo normally requires either a Garmin Colorado, a Garmin Oregon, or a GPS equiped Pocket PC (running the Wherigo Player). Android (Including Tablets with 3G capabilites), iPhones, and iPads (With 3G capabilities) can be used by using their respected Wherigo Players. You will want to use the Pocket PC version if you are using one of these devices.
If you have Wherigo capabilities and are willing to help someone without, please log that you are willing. If you do NOT have Wherigo capabilities, you can contact me or one of those who log their willingness to share if you'd like to attempt this cache.
Update (09/02/2011): Some finders are having issues when it comes to the completion code and using it on the Wherigo.com website. When your GPS gives you the completion code please verify that it is 15 characters long. Some have had trouble with it being 16 characters long which will not unlock it on Wherigo.com. All you have to do is remove the last letter off the code. Remember that each completion code is unique to only the Geocaching user name that you used to download it. This should not affect you logging this cache on this website. If you have any trouble email me. Have fun!

This cache should be found no later than 10pm any day of the week. Permission was given at the final location! Please do NOT take any pictures of the container or the final location! It would really ruin the cache if you did. Thank you!
