Geocache Description:

This cache is my 99th Hide and I think a very interesting place for a special hide. A big thanks to Hearse068 for helping me with this Hide.
This place was once know as the Mardan Pools. It was originally run by the local council. When it closed it was given back to the original owner of the land. It was interesting to get a feel for this place today when Hearse068 and I placed the cache.I felt one can only imagine some of the great times that where had here. If you have a look around there are still the old change rooms, toilet, BBQ area and the remains of the pool. I am waiting to get some more details on this place but the person whom I need to contact is away at present.

I have asked the permission to put this cache here as this area is now PRIVATE PROPERTY.

THE CACHE IS AVALIABLE 24/7 BUT I RECOMMEND YOU DO THIS CACHE IN DAYLIGHT HOURS SO YOU CAN GET A FEEL FOR THIS PLACE.

COULD YOU PLEASE KEEP THE GATES SHUT AS THERE COULD BE MUGGLE CATTLE IN THIS AREA ALSO LEAVE THE AREA AS YOU FOUND IT AS YOU ARE ON PRIVATE PROPERTY.

*******PLEASE NO SWIMMING**********

It was a little wet under foot when we were there so I suggest that if you do this cache in the damp times wear suitable foot wear. Please also keep eye out for snakes in the warmer times and keep a good eye on GEO KIDS AT ALL TIMES as the pool is quite deep .

Please have a look at the photos of the area I have included. If you find the Cyprus tree that is in the photo it will help you find the cache.

You are looking for a 1 ltr sistema container with logbook pen and swaps.

HAPPY HUNTING

Congratulation's to annedo for you very first FTF
