Geocache Description:

Near the Manistee River, not winter friendly, beautiful spot for a picnic and excellent view of the river.

Down the stairway under the logs lived a big Rainbow Trout named Henry. We found out about him in 2002 when our Papa was fishing and hooked Henry in the back leaving a scar. Over the years he moved about 20 feet down the river with the current. When our Papa almost caught him many years ago he was only 10 to 12 inches. In 2010, the last year we saw him, he was 22 inches long! Every year he would jump out of the water but he mysteriously stopped.
