Not far from the coast path and the iconic mine buildings of Wheal Coates, there are great views from this cache. It’s easily reached from the mainly gently sloping paths. We’d recommend trainers or walking boots as the paths can be rough and stony in places with a few steep bits.
As this is an area of old mine workings and some of the paths are close to the cliff edge we’d recommend you keep children and dogs under close supervision.
The cache is a small size lunch box with a brown tape disguise. Inside the cache there’s also a family friendly activity for you to try nearby.
If you enjoy this cache, look out for others devised by Countryside Rangers from the National Trust.
