Geocache Description:

Mascoutah is a small town in rural Illinois with a lot of pride and history! Hopefully this cache shows you that. :)

As American settlers pushed westward for more land and opportunities, small towns emerged in what was once swampland and plains. The city of Mascotah came about similairly in 1837. Like any historic town, Mascoutah has landmarks that still exist from its beginnings. This puzzle will take you through some of these landmarks and hopefully to the cache at the end! IMPORTANT: This cache can only be accessed Monday - Thursday: 10 AM - 8:30 PM and Friday - Saturday: 10 AM - 5:30 PM. Good luck on your blast through the past!
