mrcanoehead224: Oh right, better take this off the books.

Thanks to all who came out and cleaned up our city just a bit.

Next time, we'll try to find a dirtier park, it's on my list!

Geocache Description:

Get ready to kick off CCARF11 in style, by picking up trash! Based on the great feedback from the last CCAR event, we will again be cleaning up a city park and giving you the option to "CITO where you're at". This time Deerfoot Park will get our attention.

A full weekend of geocaching fun, frolics and friendships, that's what it is! This Fall special geocaches will be hidden by special folks just like you and published on or before October 19th. On October 22nd we kick start the finding frenzy with a CCARF11 launch event and CITO (this event - GC32EAW) at 10:30am. At 12:00 noon, we scatter like wild penguins, and so starts the next 24 hours of geocaching rally! (You are not obligated to geocache for the full 24 hours.) At midnight on the same Saturday, those still on the road meet up for Crash and Relax (GC2YXDJ) for note comparing, hint sharing, and brag airing. Survive this and you can carry-on caching until 12-noon on Sunday 23rd when we meet again to share some delicious food at the CCARF11 Wrap-Up event (GC351R0). There we will gather to vote on our favourite caches of the event and to award many prizes.

Can't make it to the kick off event? No worries, just clean up some trash any time the weekend of Oct 22/23 and feel free to log your 'attended' for this event. Please mention what area and include a photo if you can. A prize (presented at the wrap-up) is up for grabs for the biggest/oddest piece of trash recovered.

Feel free to come out if this is your first or 100th event. This weekend is for everyone, whether you've found one cache or thousands.
