This is my first hide. The cache is a camo bison tube marked "Official Geocache" and contains only a log and a FTF prize, so BYOP. The location is winter-friendly, and has plenty of parking.
Last Christmas Eve, my friend Sproutbike was visiting for Christmas. After building a gingerbread house, I asked if she wanted to go geocaching. She hadn't heard of the activity, so I explained it to her. She was skeptical, but willingly followed me into the forest behind a well-known corporate establishment and even made the find after I had given up. She continued to be uncertain for a few more finds, but by the time we reached her house, she was excited about having a new hobby. Since then, we've cached our way across a couple of states together and had many epic adventures.
This cache is in honor of that first cache we found together - small, fairly straightforward, and located in a corporate environment. The Property Manager for Cummings Properties granted me permission to place this cache.
