The first task of the Triwizard tournament is designed to test your daring. Do you dare to complete this task?
We enjoy watching all of the Harry Potter movies and wanted to put some caches out to reflect the People, Places, & Things that make up part of the wizarding world of Harry Potter. This is the first task of three that will build up to a final. You will need to copy the clues from all three tasks in order to find the final cache for the Triwizard Tournament. This is a short hike on level ground along an old railroad bed with some elevation change at the end. Our GPS was jumping around a little bit, so you might have to expand your search a little. I hope that you dare to complete this task as a Hungarian Horntail might be watching and a Summoning Charm will not help you here.
Please be careful of any motorized vehicles that may come along. We have seen anything from a tractor to multiple ATVs. Please bring your own pen.
Make sure that you can replace the cache as you found it. Bring your own pen. Please do not retrieve it if you aren’t sure that you are able to replace it correctly.
