A trip of a 1000 miles starts with only one step; The Hamilton-Coleraine Rail Trail is only 21 miles or 34km in length and this cache is located at either the beginning or end of the trail reserve depending on your point of view.
The reserve is open for use but is mostly in a wild state with overgrown grasses and many many details still to be worked out and implemented over the next few years including opening the fences to allow access.
