"You Can't Roller Skate __ _ _______ ____" was a Top 40 hit for Oklahoma singer/songwriter Roger Miller in 1966. If you can complete the lyric, you've got a leg up on solving the theme of this Lawton cache run. All 12 caches are micros or smaller. High muggle factor at most locations, so use extreme stealth.
This was originally conceived to be a single multi-cache, but the more we looked, the more locations we found. I don't know anyone who's got the patience for a 12-part multi-cache, so we did it this way. The series was placed for the enjoyment of the SouthWest Area Geocachers (SWAG) and the Texoma Geocaching Assn. (ToGA) when they gathered for a meeting in Lawton.
At this stop, you're looking for an Okie micro. You're near a busy spot for traffic. No designated parking in the area, but you can pretty much get away with parking along the side of the road and hitting your emergency blinkers.
Trivia: In 1937, Brewster Aeronautical Corp. launched its fighter plane, the F2A Buffalo. Only about 500 were made, and production was discontinued shortly after the U.S. entered World War II. Although used by the U.S. Navy, the British, the Dutch and Finland, Japanese fighters were far superior to the Buffalo, and it was dropped. In the 1960s, de Havilland Canada made a turboprop, also called the Buffalo.
Congratulations to Oklee, CandJGoCaching and rubiconlaw for the joint FTF!
