Geocache Description:

Congratulations go to camoboy91 Nicely Done! There are not that many caches on this side of I75 so I seized the opportunity. This one is in Butts county. Butts County was formed from Henry and Monroe Counties on December 24, 1825. It was Georgia's 70th county. It was named after a Georgia Militia member who was killed in battle against the Creek Indians during the War of 1812, Capt. Samule Butts. The county seat is Jackson and was named in honor of Andrew Jackson. Finding this cache should be easy. Do not go beyond the barb wire fence, though the gate or past the chain link fence. There is no need for that. Day light caching only PLEASE! This cache is almost a park and grab. There is ample parking nearby and depending on your mode of transport you can drive really close. I found this area while looking for a benchmark. My hand held gave me good consistent readings so the cords should be close. If you really are having a problem finding it then use the hint. The cache is a heavily camo’ed matchstick container covered well by natural material. Bring your own pen. Pay close attention how it is hidden and rehide it as you found it. Feel free to hide it better if you dare. Do not cross any fence. Be sure to check out the other nearby caches and make a day of it in the Pike, Spalding, Lamar, Upson county area.
