This cache is to celebrate my friend Susan's birthday. Susan and her son, Dan (dan_t327_BSA) have been geocaching about a week longer than my family.
While my son Brian and I, along with Susan and her two sons were visiting the Boy Scout Jamboree in August of 2010, they introduced us to geocaching. We were hooked right away! When we got back to NY, we shared what we knew about it with the rest of the family and went out to find local ones. Since then we've found some in NJ, PA, CT, RI, MA as well as in VA (the Jamboree) and here in NY. We were excited to reach 100 finds by our first anniversary a few weeks ago, but that's nothing compared to Susan and Dan, who found 250 in their first year!
This cache is a thank you to her for introducing us to a great hobby.
