Geocache Description:

The eighth of ten caches. After finding this cache follow the path round to the left and over the wooden stile. Follow the path which goes across the railway line, so BEWARE and take care of children, dogs and yourself. Go down the steps and over the stile. Turn right and follow the road to No 9: Bridges and Stiles.

This is a series of ten caches in approximately a two mile circular walk. The caches are off various sizes and all but two are placed near a bridge or stile. These are my first caches and any feed back would be appreciated.

PLEASE TAKE A PEN OR PENCIL WITH YOU.

NONE OF THE CACHES ARE IN ANY OF THE STONE WALLS.

The path is well marked and starts of easy. But there are at least nine stiles, several bridges and three flight of steps. Parts of the path can get very muddy and slippery after wet weather. The path goes past and over a railway line. And in places is near water, so care needs to be taken, especially with children and dogs. Some of the fields contain livestock, as well as wild animals, so please keep your dog/s under control.

I hope you enjoy the walk, and the views off Lyme Park and the cage.
