Geocache Description:

One of five Prairie Research Institute geocaches.

The Illinois Sustainable Technology Center (ISTC) is part of the Prairie Research Institute, (originally the Institute of Natural Resource Sustainability) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The ISTC mission is to perform research, spread awareness, and facilitate implementation regarding practices, technology and systems that improve sustainability. ISTC staff offer sophisticated analytical laboratory support, information and technical assistance related to environmental and pollution prevention issues, and research funding to explore a wide range of issues impacting sustainability in Illinois. Metered parking is available near the cache. Parking is free on evenings and weekends.

Cache is a micro, so BYOP. Cache container is green bison tube disguised to look as if it belongs there.
