Gat R Done: As there's been no cache to find for months and I have not heard back from you, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. This cache is a short distance from a parking lot of a Moorhead church that has given permission for this cache to placed on their property.
Old marble-eye. About four million pounds of walleye are taken from Minnesota lakes and rivers each year. From the shore, in the boat or on the ice, a lot of hours are put into a good meal, a memorable story or maybe even a new state record. The current record is 17 pounds, 8 ounces; 35.8 inches. That walleye was taken out of Seagull River 13 May 1979.
What kind of cache would be good for a keeper? You'll have to do some caching to find out what our thoughts are on the matter.
You are looking for a large container. Plenty of room for trade items and even large size trackables. With the extra room we will be adding some larger items now and then, so we are giving special dispensation to take something better then what you leave for this cache.
There is room for pens, but they don't do well in the cold around here, so be sure to bring something to write with.
