Geocache Description:

See how the forestry workers lived under their working weeks from the beginning of 1900 to 1960. They were forced to live in huts which they had to build themselves close to the tree felling place. Crowded huts and many cold nights during the winter. At the same time it was difficult to dry the working clothes. Here you also see what working tools they used, far away from todays comfortably working maschines. The horse was the only pulling help to handle the heavy timbers. Therefore it was important that the first building that was built were the horse stable.
