…so we picked up this travel bug from a geocache in Gaithersburg Maryland one Saturday. He is a brown boxer from California. His tag said that he loves the mountains and so two days later we set off to the Appalachian/Blue Ridge mountains (just happened to be where we were going anyway but he thinks we did it all just for him….shhhhh)
He didn’t seem to have a name other than Mountain Dog…..but I think he needed one….so I call him Peanut. We stayed at a mountain top Chalet (that allows dogs) and has great mountain views.
The geocache you are looking for is an orange match container with only a log inside and is at/near Peanuts favorite spot for viewing the sunset. (See picture)
The container is not in plain sight but it can be seen without moving/disturbing anything. If you need to move a rock to retrieve it, please put the rock back as you found it.
