After a visit to this childhood-favorite swimming spot, I thought
that a cache might bring others here for a dip.

This cache is located at a small beach on White Sand Lake. This was
an absolute favorite swimming place for locals when Hogger grew up
here. I have lots of great memories of this place and was kind of
sad to see that it was completely empty on a beautiful Saturday in
August. There are swings and a slide nearby as well as a boat
launch area. The old wooden dock is gone, but a nice, plastic one
is there in its place. The water is clean, clear and warm - just as
I remembered. Sure felt good to get all prune-skinned here
again!
