EN: Naplov is a huge cemented surface in the middle of the woods, which used to be a drainage area for collecting rain water, in the times before Korcula had a running water (connected from river Neretva).
The area is inclined towards water collector, and it was tunnelled through pipes and filters to the city. Now, it is completely abandoned, and trees begin to grow from the cement. It is quite impressive, especially due to the fact there is no normal road to it, just the small path through the woods.
None of the tourists know about this place, and there are many people from Korcula who have never been here. So, use the opportunity and visit this impressive place.
The path to it starts at the local cemetery, at N 42° 57.298 E 017° 07.885, and it is a 10 minute walk uphill.
