Geocache Description:

The cache is a 15min. walk in amazing Griffith Woods. Some concerns we have are that there are numerous piles of logs that you have to go over along the trail and that while you are searching for the cache there is NO need to pass the fence into the conservation area.

For detailed information on trail routes and about the cache, look below.

We highly recommend that you park on the side of the road at the start of a Calgary City Trail, if you don't, we can't halp you. When you park at the side of the road there is a trail right where you should park, take that trail. A short ways down the trail, there is another trail just off to the left, take it. Down this trail there is an intersection, keep going straight. There is a river which you have to cross but we're shure it shouldn't be a problem. Keep going straight for a long time and you will get to a clearing, go right. You will get to a bench, go past it into the brush. There is a bit of a trail so it won't be a problem. From here your on your own!

The cache is a large spice container which is taped with camo duct tape. The cache contains the log book and 4 pencils to sign it (these are not collectable!), a Santa figurine, assorted Lego pieces, a "Lego Man" flashlight, a bell on a ribbon, a smiley face bracelet, a "Bakugan" toy, a Yukon Territories pin and a ruler. The cache also contains a Canadian Geocoin for the first one to find it (the Geocoin is NOT collectable).
