While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

If the owner wants it reopened, send me an e-mail and I’ll be happy to unarchive the cache listing if it still satisfies the requirement/guidelines.

(This reviewer note is in English so non-Norwegian cache owners, geocachers and cache reviewers can understand what it says.)

Langevann er et hyggelig vann i Ramnes.

Langevann is a nice lake in Ramnes.

Langevann er et populært friområde både sommer og vinter. Det ligger omtrent 4 km vest for Ramnes kirke i en høyde av vel 140 m.o.h. Langevann omkranses av forholdsvis store skogsområder, noe som gir gode muligheter for turer både til fots, med sykkel og på ski. I skogen her kan du møte elg, rådyr, hare, rev, grevling, mår, mink, røyskatt og mange slags skogsfugl. I de senere år har det også kommet bever i tillegg til streifdyr av hjort og gaupe i faunaen her. Området har også en del fin bøkeskog. En fin badeplass er tilrettelagt med stupetårn og gode sanitærforhold. Det er gode fiskemuligheter i Langevann, og her finnes ørret, abbor, ål og brasme. Fiskekort selges av grunneierlaget. Vinterstid, når isen er sikker, er området mye brukt til skøyteaktiviteter. I Ramnes rundt Langevann er det fantastiske forhold for skiturer når det er snø.

Vær snill å gjemme cachen godt etterpå grunnet mange mugglere i området.

NB! En hyggelig cache som kan tas dersom det er mugglere på plassen (for å slå ihjel litt tid) er multicachen "Gransetra" (GC32MH3). (Husk isåfall å lese cachebeskrivelsen før du går dit).

English:
Langevann is a popular area for recreational activities both summer and winter. It is located about 4 km west of Ramnes church at a height of over 140 m. Langevann is surrounded by large forest areas, which provide good opportunities for walking, biking or skiing. In the forest you can see moose, deer, hare, fox, badger, marten, mink, weasels and many kinds of birds. In recent years it has came beaver in addition to single individs of red deer and lynx in the fauna. The area also has some fine beech forest. It also is a nice place for bathing in Langevann. There is good opportunities for fishing for trout, perch, eel and bream. Fishing licenses are sold by the landowners. In winter, when ice is safe, the area is used for ice-skating. In Ramnes around Langevann there are great conditions for skiing in winters with snow.

Please hide the cache well afterwards because it is often a lot of muggles in the area.

NOTE: A nice cache nearby is the multi cache "Gransetra" (GC32MH3). If it is muggles on Langevann, you can "kill some time" and go for a trip to Gransetra. (If so, remember to read the cache description before you go).
