Geocache Description:

As of 2011, Hurdle Park is the newest in the Ashland County Park District. (More parks have been added since the original cache placement.) A nice easy stroll from the parking lot. A wonderful view once you get there, expecially during bird migration season. The lookout tower is only open during special events.

There have been changes in location, size and type of container. The replacement is a smaller container, a camo pill bottle, and the coordinates have been changed accordingly. The spot is on this side of an old broken wire fence. If you are looking around the fence area, there are some wire projections--don't get caught or scraped. BYOP. Not much room for tiny trades; no room for TBs. Hope this new container holds up well in the rain and snow. (The old one cracked and was usually full of water.) This one probably won't be found during big snows. Better to come and find it spring through fall. Lots of wild animals around: groundhogs and frogs as well as birds and deer. Happy caching!
