My first cache in what, hopefully, will be a series of caches dedicated to all the places I like to walk my dogs. Located in Pacific Spirit Park right on a main trail. I have recently made my dogs trackable so if you see us walking in this park, or any of the other great dog walks around Vancouver, stop, say hi and get their tracking numbers off the collars (TB43RQ0 and TB3VV7C)
On one fateful day, on this very spot, a young malamute pup named Democritus met the love of his life Rosie. It was love at first site. They would soon grow up to be the King and Queen of the forest.
This cache is dedicated to the memory of Democritus, my first dog and one of the reasons I started geocaching. You will find his collar incorporated in the cache and a picture of him and Rosie on the underside of the cache lid.
