Starts at the Rotary Centennial Walkway off Coronation road.
Lockerbie Park
First a little about Lockerbie Park and how it got its name,
Howard Morrin, the first major European settler in the area (in 1974), brought land from tangata whenua and called it "lockerbie" estate, after the ancestral homeland of his forefather's from Scotland.
This is a park as kids growing up in the area we spent alot of time here, as new subdivisions have opened up in the area the park has grown with them. Now a lovely walkway from Coronation road through to Lockerbie Park (Rotary Centennial Walkway) which is lined with specimen trees, large rolling grass areas alongside three gullies extensively planted with trees and shrubs.
At the coords listed above you will find a cache containing the coords for the final. Stealth will be required.
Entry available to Lockerbie Park from many areas however off coronation road is where you’ll find way point 1
