Tia Babe's New Building Traditional Geocache
ArchtMig: I hate having to archive this cache that is so personal to me, and that also has lots of favorite points. But it is no longer there. The building remains unoccupied, and there are possibly undesirable elements that may hang around at the geozone occasionally. Hopefully, if the restaurant ever gets activated again, I can talk to the new owners and get a cache re-established here.

A quick Park n Grab, unless there are muggles around, which is a distinct possibility. Parking is easy, finding it is easy, and the proprietors know the cache is here, but regardless, be very discreet when seeking it. There are lots of youths in the area that may be tempted to mess with it. Log only - BYOP.
This is a relatively brand new building in town, completed in 2010. It's in a very high profile location, and can be thought of as a gateway structure to downtown Santa Paula. While it was under construction, and even before construction began, it was the talk of the town. Everyone was curious and eager to see what it would look like upon completion.
I'm proud to have been the architect for this building. I think everyone involved is very happy with how it turned out. It truly was a cooperative effort between owner, architect, city staff, and even city council, many of whom gave thoughtful input which helped in the planning of the final product.
I didn't think of incorporating a nifty geocache hiding place into the detailed plans (shame on me!), but when I recently explained the concept of geocaching to the Owner (my Client), she was more than happy to let me hide one on site after the fact.
So come get this cache and learn all about the evolution of this building from original, uncleared site all the way through construction and final product.
