The cache is in an area where there is a memorial pole. The memorial pole is in memory of Dayton Clifford Mack. He was a decendant of the Nuxalk people. At one point there was a village in this area that was said to have washed away in a flood.
The cache is in a small container with only room for log sheets, pencil and a few trade items.
